Use to locate dates on which events occurred or began. For date ranges, use the formats: ">1786", "<1798", or"1786..1798"

Ending Date:
Use to locate terminal date values in entries identified explicitly as occurring across several days, months, or years. For example, in "Jan 2, 1798 - Feb 8, 1799," the terminal date values are "Feb," "8," and "1799."

Record ID#:
This is the unique identifier for each record in the database. Record ID's are assigned automatically in ascending order as records are created. Editing records does not change their original Record ID.
